HOW TO USE:

Balaclava No Eau face salve is wonderful! I moved to the US a couple of years ago and fell victim to low winter humidity and well-insulated and heated buildings (OK, so a less rainy climate and being cosy isn't terrible but it plays havoc with your skin!). I'd given up using moisturiser overnight prior to the move, but my poor face was fast becoming a parched desert of dull winter flakiness. And then I opened the little jar of Balaclava which I'd been given for Christmas - hurrah! It smells amazing, absorbs beautifully (you might go to bed a bit shiny but wake up with refreshed and hydrated skin in the morning) and completely cures any winter skin niggles. If you suffer from dry skin in the winter then I wholeheartedly recommend this. It also does a great job on soothing over-blown noses during the flu season if you don't want to put it all over your face, or could be used once a week as a rehydration treat overnight. Love it!

I received this salve a few years ago as part of a gift set, and have consistently used it at night in winter when the weather is dry and year-round on the bridge of my nose to prevent peeling. The salve is rich and melts on the warmth of your fingers so you can spread a little all over your face. It has lasted me so long! Thank you so much for making this wonderful non-irritating product.
