Bathing Beauty, born out of a mother’s desperation and a deep-rooted belief that she could do better.

Our Mission statement is: To mindfully manufacture affordable and effective bath and body care products for EVERY BODY , without costing the EARTH.

Born out of a mother's desperation and a deep rooted belief that she could do better; founder George Jones set out to create gentle and effective products to help cleanse and moisturise her young family's very sensitive and reactive skin.

15 years later Bathing Beauty has won over 35 national awards.

George has thoughtfully formulated over 40 different natural skincare solutions each one created to help solve a particular problem.

She draws on 25 years of clinical practice as an Osteopath and a detailed knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the human body to inform her formulations.In 2024 George completed her training in London to qualify as an Oncology Scar Therapist and subsequently created Soothe Salve. A multi-purpose salve that is used during treatment sessions and also at home to support scar recovery naturally.

Each product only contains the ingredients that are needed to help with that particular problem. All ingredients are sensitively sourced from ethical suppliers.

The products are handmade by our all female team. We are proud to provide a flexible and adaptive work space in our rural community that allows our team to manage other commitments and also balance work with their other hobbies and interests.

Our workshop, The Source, is a collection of ancient agricultural buildings which nestle in the foothills of The Clwydian Range. An Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty. From time to time we offer courses and events when you can join us in this historic building- check out our Events page.

Our eye catching, gender neutral packaging is either reusable or recyclable. The boxes are made from sustainably managed, recycled wood pulp, and they feature original hand drawn illustrations by George and her husband Simeon.

Passionate about the products, people and the planet, every aspect of our business is carefully monitored, and in 2022 we were proud to announce that we became the first B Corp Certified Beauty Brand in Wales.
